Blaauwberg Large Stock Auction, Omaruru Friday 12 August

450 cattle (weaners, tollies, heifers) were auctioned at Omaruru by Blaauberg Auctioneers. All animals were sold at record prices. Weaners were sold for up to N$4000/weaner.

    Weaner prices are now so good that it is almost impossible to justify ox production (taking the risk of stock theft into account)...!!!
