Charcoal Production Creates Employment For Kavango Rural Community Members

Rural community members who chose employment in the Charcoal industry
Community members from one of the Traditional authorities in the Kavango region getting ready to leave for employment on a commercial farm where they will produce charcoal from invasive bush. 

According to them it is hard work, but worth the effort as it can bring a valuable income to support the family back home. The average individual can produce up to 3 ton and more charcoal per month. This means an income of around N$1800/month.
