The official launch of the Valencia Uranium Usakos Community Vegetable Garden took place in Usakos on 28 June 2012. The garden was officially opened by Honorable Governor for Erongo region, Cloephas Mutjavikua on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture,Water and Forestry.
Mr. Marcel Hilmer, the CEO of Valencia Uranium emphasized Valencia Uranium's social responsibility towards community development and therefore their involvement with the funding of this community garden.
