Agri advisory services of the Directorate of Extension and Engineering Service (DEES), Northwestern Divisions (NWD) held their 4th management meeting for the last quarter of the 2012/13 budget year. This was also the last meeting to reflect on the implementation progress of the 2008-2012/13 Strategic Plan. The final evaluation of the implementation of this SP will be compiled in the near future.

The 3 regions of NWD, Erongo, Kunene and Khomas also presented their Annual Plans (AP) for the 4th National Development Plan (NDP4) as well as the Performance Agreements of individual staff members reflecting activities planned in the AP.
This was also the last time Mr. Renier D. Burger attended the NWD meeting as Chief Officer for Erongo region after 15 years of service with the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry. He will start next month in his new role as Deputy Director for the Division Inland Aquaculture at the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources at Kamutjonga Inland Fisheries Institute, Divindu/Bagani in the West Caprivi.
