Producers can sign delivery agreements with Meatco for the third slaughter period (September to December) this month. Producers who wish to slaughter during this period should sign their delivery agreements before or on 31 July 2012.
Delivery agreements can be completed as follows:
1. The delivery agreement can be signed at any Meatco service office.
2. Producers can fill out the delivery agreement online.
3. If a producer cannot make it to a service office or does not have access to the internet, he / she can request a proxy-form. The service office can fax through the proxy-form for the producer to complete. The completed form should be faxed back to the office. The original proxy-form should also be sent to the office so it can be attached to the contract.
4. A producer can fill out a proxy form with a Meatco Procurement Officer or Meatco representative at any of the farmers’ days where they are present. They will take it back to the service office for processing.
