First week:
- Windhoek Agriculture Show
- Second African Horse Sickness vaccination (3 weeks after first vaccination)
Second week:
- Start of Calving Season for Cows
- Maintain additional feeding (enerfeed, Albida pods etc) to cows and heifers in order to maintain or improve body condition (body condition score 3-4)
- Continue with Protein & Mineral supplementation (Winter lick). Be careful of urea poisoning with early rains. Remove or cover lick containers with early rain.
Third week:
- Submit birth notices for calves(stud animals) and maintain and update calve register for commercial producers.

Fourth week:
- Weigh all animals for biomass and post birth weight/mass of cows that calved
- Take manure samples
- Send manure samples to lab
- De-horn calves
- Selection of replacement heifers and cows for upcoming mating season
- Culling of unproductive cows and heifers not selected for mating
- Additional feeding to condition culled animals for market
