The selection of applications received from the 7 Agriculture Development Centers in Erongo region (Omaruru, Omatjette, Okombahe, Uis, Spitzkoppe, Utuseb and Otjimbingwe) for the Animal Improvement Scheme (Bull Scheme) that was launched during July will take place in Omaruru on Monday 24 September 2012. The selection committee will be composed as follow:
- Chairperson : Mr. R.D. Burger, Chief Agriculture Extension Officer, Directorate of Extension and Engineering Services, Erongo Region (MAWF)
- Erongo Regional Farmers Union (ERFU) Chairperson: Mr M. Uirab
- Erongo Regional Council Representative
- Directorate of Research and Training (DART) representative: Mr. Suibeb (MAWF)
