Mr. J. Mundjanu (Oloff) from the Namibia National Farmers Union
Mr. J. Mundjanu (Oloff) from the Namibia National Farmers Union (NNFU: www.nnfu.org.na) encouraged farmers to join and participate in the activities of their farmers associations at regional and sub-regional level. This will expose farmers to relevant agriculture technologies and developmental opportunities like in the case of commercial agriculture unions under the Namibia Agriculture Union (NAU: http://www.agrinamibia.com.na/)

Honorable Councilor Katjiku from the Daures Constituency
Honorable Councilor Katjiku from the Daures Constituency officially opened the event on behalf of Erongo regional Governor, Honorable Mutjavikua. He expressed his concern with the amount of animals on display as   Daures communal/rural area is an agriculture area and farmers therefore need to support such occasions for their own benefit and the advancement of agriculture development in the area.

Mr. Renier Burger (Agriculture Office Omaruru) and Mr. Jefta Karipata acted as the livestock judges.
